Vladimir Romanov has a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering (2013) and an MBA (2021). He has been in manufacturing since 2014 and worked for Procter & Gamble, Kraft Heinz, and Post Holdings as an automation and engineering manager. His largest contributions at P&G include new line installations (~$20MM / line) and line speed-up projects. Vlad joined DreamVersion shortly after a Kraft Heinz plant closure announcement (2017) – his main assignments included automation start-ups, control system optimization, roll-out of AI / PI / CSI tools, and more. In 2021, Vlad founded a technical education company in the industrial automation space – SolisPLC. The company teaches thousands of engineers and technicians how to work with various control systems used in manufacturing. In 2022, Vlad co-founded a SaaS company focused on observability in the software space called Kerno, which was seed-backed by VC capital (1.8MM) in 2023. In late 2024, Vlad launched a consulting and systems integration practice called Joltek to help manufacturers with their operations.
